Did you know that Fuerte used to be the most popular avocado before the Hass was introduced? I’ve personally polled friends and family who all agree that the Fuerte is the best tasting! These avocados are best when they are firm-ripe, so try and not let them get too soft. Their skin stays green even when they ripen. These have a distinct nutty flavor to them, and are one of the best all around in flavor and texture. These are available November through March.
